"Colors of  Carnival  in  Jinnah University For Women"
Colours are variables and created for women. So it's impossible to see women with out colours  and just imagine about the university of women where they have  an opportunity to spread colours every where ,whether it's a colour of henna  , bangles, ear rings , dresses  or even home made delicious food ,every thing witnessing the ultimate effort of women .
Similarly Jinnah University for Women organized to spread colours  every where in the form of University Carnival (mela) 2011 on  Saturday,26march .All the students of university were allowed to come along with their female members and dress informally as students of this university are always restricted to be in  complete uniform but colors are always variable not uniform so,that students came to university in casual wear and were very glad on this.
Madiha Wahid ,student of Third year Mass Communication said;"Its so nice for us to see every one in colorful  dresses ,at least we are not looking like a vanilla ice cream today."
Administration  have  arranged stalls for sellers and for students as well. The stalls included food items like gol gapppe, haleem, biryani, shwerma ,Chinese food cuisine  .Several sweet marts also exhibit their products including Dilpasand sweets and Qasr-e-shireen sweet mart. Whereas many volunteers were selling their home made food like kachories ,haleem and gol gappe. A rush of peoples were enjoying these food stalls.
The charity booths were also placed there and volunteers were admiring the great response of visitors and students. Several booths of mehndi ,face painting , tricky games were also placed to cheer up the visitors .
Maha Ameen  sharing her experience after lost in a tricky game and said;"I am not a student here ,just come to see this colorful event  .The games are very tricky ,i have played four games and lost in  all but these stalls are very interesting  and the environment is very reliable here" .Where as  very few of visitors showed their regret towards university management .Student of second year Pre-Medical  Nimra Masood lamented that;"I have heard that gents  members are not allowed here but still i found several of  these visitors here except stall holders and  we are not comfortable in dealing with these male stall holders we have to be very prudent towards their behavior"

The students from different departments of university  also placed their stalls. These stalls were included hand made jewellery , foil  work ,paintings , home made food , games , mirrors of beautiful designs.
The stalls of face painting were crowded with the children but still some visitors were offended with the similarity of these stalls .Marium Fatima , student of  a near by school said,"I am tired of seeing same stalls , i have reportedly witnessed more than seven stalls of mehndi and face painting only." There were repetition found in several stalls but it didn't affect the stall holders and most of  these stalls were crowded .Booths of designer dresses were also placed there  (the designer was anonymous )and the prices were starting from3,000 to 9,000 and onwards.
The place where students of Arts faculty had to install their booths was so congested , there were many more stalls of frying food items also placed in the same area and the net roofs of tents were failed to barrier the scorching sunlight due to which students were very uncomfortable in dealing with the visitors at their stalls.
The chief guests of this colorful event was Mr.Raza Haroon (Minister of Information Technology , Sindh) and Mr. Faisal Sabzwari (Minister of Youth).Though  they were in complete security  protocol but surrounded by  students and camera men. Camera men from different T.V channels were also covering the event.
Its a great owner for the Jinnah University for Women that the two well known ministers were invited as the chief guest  in the University .The event was really colorful and enjoyable .
