Advertisements and Effective Advertisements.

Advertisements contains messages that force the customers to buy the product.Children are especially influenced by such ads in which the children of their same age  group perform .When i found nothing to watch on t.v then i also enjoy my self by watching ads on t.v. Some ads are based on well conceptual stories like yesterday i was watching t.v and saw Shehzad Roy in the advertisement of
d  juice....Its my utter belief that whenever Mr.Roy is performing in any ad, it must be for the betterment of the youth as he is also very well known and respectable celebrity for his campaign "Zindagi".
And i was right .Generally i m not fond of watching ads related to late night mobile packages because i have no any special person to talk late night.....nor i am in favor of these packages but i paid attention to the message shown in the advertisement and it was " khamoshi ka boycott".
I am thoroughly impressed and i really admire Mr.Shehzad Roy for his great message for youth .Those advertisements contain such effective messages are work as a source of conveying effective messages for every one (magic bullet theory =) )
As i discussed in above para that children  are especially influenced by the ads because they have Sponge like minds to absorb every thing (again as we had taught in needle and bullet theory)
My sister told me that her Microbiology Professor was teaching about germs and  importance of hand washing in which she include an example of her 7 year old son that he is not washing his hands properly after watching an advertisement of super fast hand sanitizer on t.v in which Babloo is telling his class mates to wash hands properly up to a minute while Pinky(i don't know the second character name )said that"Aey Babloo tmhara sabun slow hai kiya??

I was completely shocked when my sister told me that story because the advertisement has the misconcepted base and it affect the children as well. The 7 year old son of the Professor tells her mother that ;"I don't need to wash my hands up to a minute because i have a super fast hand wash". This statement from a 7 year old child is not a joke, its a serious threat to health.
Though it has been proved by CDC(centre of disease control and prevent)  that proper hand washing can stop the germs to spread. There is no such sanitizer is effective that can clean our hands properly in just 10 seconds. Hands can only be free of germs when they properly rub together by the leather of the soap up to 60 seconds.
Hence parents should have to look after the activities of their children and guide them to the right way. The advertiser too have to produce the advertisements that are based on a well and proved concepts based stories.Otherwise it will be a health hazard for all of us.

  1. U are absolutly on the spot. Advertisments do have a magical effect on people especially young kids. That is why they are a very popular source of propaganda as well. I am seriously dissapointed with the surf excel ad with the kids having sack race with there pants down. Kids are involved in it so it looks cute but it isnt gonna leave a positive effect on every kid.

  3. Agree with you. There are many ads that are giving a good message and allot of ads that are injecting misconceptions in children's mind. But I think cartoon's short stories like Safe guard are good example kids follow them and obey them also!
